“Go and do likewise.” Seems so simple, yet we struggle to do so…

What does compassion mean… “to show pity, ” “to love, ” and “to show mercy,” “to be loved by, ” “to show concern for, ” “to be tenderhearted, ” and “to act kindly”, to name a few. We all need compassion at times. If you have ever have been on the receiving end of compassion, you know how much of a blessing it is! Christ wants us to “pay it forward”. He wants us to show the same compassion he has shown to us…

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. -James 1:22-25
